Breif Bio
Hello! My name is Preston Blackburne. I live in Portland, Oregon. I graduated high school in June of 2017. I am going to college to become a Media Arts teacher. I love the outdoors and am an avid photographer. I enjoy hiking, disc golfing, rock climbing, photography, graphic design, and writing poetry.
What is Art to Me?
Sometimes I need to escape from the boxes and standards that society set, so I use art as a place to let my emotions run free. When I am creating things I feel like I can safely let my guard down and be myself without being judged. Specifically in photography I see the color, contrast, light: the unfiltered beauty of life. Art is my light in the darkness.
